Kirti Chavan

Kirti Chavan is a biodiversity professional with a M.Sc. in Biodiversity with a strong interest in biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, field ecology and environmental research. Her academic and professional interests centre around understanding natural ecosystems, documenting species and ecological patterns and supporting science-based approaches to conservation and restoration.
She has practical experience in ecological field research in the Northern Western Ghats, where she contributed to field surveys which involved species identification, vegetation assessment, ecological data collection, biodiversity documentation and structured dataset preparation. Alongside field ecology, Kirti has a research background in environmental biotechnology and sustainable environmental solutions. At Ecoreviva Nature Foundation, Kirti contributes to initiatives involving biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, field-based ecological studies, biodiversity documentation and nature-based solutions. Her approach combines scientific understanding with practical field experience, with an emphasis on translating ecological knowledge into meaningful conservation action.
