Project Coordinator

Pratiksha holds a Master’s degree in Biodiversity: Monitoring and Utilization from Abasaheb Garware College, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India. She has been associated with RANWA for nearly four years, during which she has worked extensively on various aspects of plant–insect interactions, including estimation of standing nectar crop, assessment of floral visitor diversity, and pollen morphological studies. Her research interests also encompass woody species diversity, reproductive phenological patterns of tree species in the evergreen forests of the northern Western Ghats, as well as lateritic plateau vegetation assessment and its conservation.

Over time, she has progressed from assisting in projects to successfully coordinating them, and has served as a Project Coordinator for biodiversity survey and enhancement initiatives for corporate sectors. She is also a recipient of the ‘Prakriti Research Fellowship’ for her work on the conservation of two endangered species in the northern Western Ghats.
